HEB PVC Lattice Top Privacy Fence: Full-Privacy Panels with a Lattice Crown

Component Breakdown of a Standard HEB Section

The panel is a stacked assembly: two tongue-and-groove infill options sit between notched rails, and the lattice is captured above the top rail. Every part below is a standard component of the 72" x 96" section.

Reading the Specification: Height, Width, Posts and Rails

Standard section height is 72" and standard width is 96". Both are working dimensions rather than limits — different heights and widths are produced to suit the run, the gate position and the local boundary requirement.

• Post selection: 4" x 4" for standard residential runs, 5" x 5" where a heavier line, longer spans or a commercial setting calls for more section.
• Routing: posts arrive pre-routed for Line, End, Corner or 3-way positions, or blank where the site is drilled on installation.
• Rails: bottom, middle and top rails are pre-notched at 94" so the panel drops into position without field cutting.
• Infill: 8 wider boards or 16 narrower boards per section, both 7/8" thick and 50" long, giving a coarser or finer panel face.
• Packing: one section occupies 0.166 CBM, which sets the container loading plan for bulk orders.

The Lattice Top: What It Does and How It Is Held

The lattice is a 11.8" x 90.8" moulded section that sits above the top rail and is captured on both vertical edges by 1" x 1" x 60" U-channels. That arrangement keeps the lattice flat and aligned across the run instead of relying on the panel below to hold it.

Functionally, the lattice raises the visual height of the fence without adding a solid mass at the top, which keeps the boundary from reading as a wall. Privacy is delivered by the tongue-and-groove panel below; the lattice is the finish. Colors, Post Caps and Design Coordination

Panel, rail and post profiles are produced in White, Tan, Grey and Cream. Because the components are made in the same plant, posts, rails and caps can be specified in different colors to create a two-tone fence without a mismatch in tone or surface finish.

Installation Sequence and Site Interfaces

The HEB system installs much like a wood fence, with the routing already done. Posts are set first, then rails are inserted into the routed post holes, the tongue-and-groove boards are stacked between the rails, and the lattice is slid into its U-channels before the caps are fitted.

1. Set and align posts at the marked spacing; treat PVC posts as you would wood posts, including cementing where that is normal local practice.
2. Insert bottom, middle and top rails into the routed post openings.
3. Stack the T&G boards between the rails and check the panel is square in the opening.
4. Fit the lattice into the U-channels above the top rail.
5. Attach post caps last and clean down the run.

Wind performance depends on the panel style, the post installation and the rail configuration, so post depth, footing and spacing are agreed against the site conditions before the order is released. Installation video guidance is provided with the shipment.

Material, Weathering and In-House Quality Control

Profiles are extruded from 100% virgin PVC with no recycled content and no lead, stabilised with UV inhibitors, impact modifiers and stabilisers. Titanium dioxide at 10 parts per 100 is used for non-chalking performance, and pigments and resin are traceable to their source. The published service range is -40 to 70 degrees, and the system is backed by a 30-year limited warranty.
