Material and Climate Behaviour

The HFB panel is extruded from 100% virgin PVC with no recycled content and a lead-free formulation, supported by UV inhibitors, impact modifiers and stabilisers. Titanium dioxide is dosed at 10 parts per 100 using DuPont non-chalking TiO2, which is the main defence against the surface chalking that affects under-stabilised vinyl. Raw materials are traceable through production.

Manufacturing and Quality Control

Production runs through extrusion, cutting, drilling, notching, packaging and storage at our Huzhou plant, with the extrusion lines introduced to hold profile consistency across long runs. An independent quality-control group inspects each extruder's output every hour and carries out additional random checks, so dimensional drift is caught inside the shift rather than at dispatch.

Installation, Interfaces and Site Preparation

HFB panels assemble in the same sequence as a wood fence, but without on-site routing. Posts arrive pre-routed for their position in the run, rails arrive pre-notched, and pickets are cut to length, so the installer sets posts, drops rails into the routed post holes, inserts pickets into the rails and fits the caps last.

• The aluminium insert in the bottom rail stiffens the lowest span, which is the point most exposed to impact and gate traffic.
• Posts are set in concrete where that is normal local practice for wood posts; footing depth follows the local frost and wind requirement.
• Gate posts and gate openings are confirmed before routing, because hinge loads change the post specification.
